- Pricing & Quotations
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable, unless stated otherwise. We may update website pricing, product availability, promotions and service rates without notice.
Orders already placed will be honoured at the price confirmed at checkout or in an accepted written quotation, unless a genuine pricing, product, measurement or calculation error has occurred.
Quoted works are based on the information available at the time of quoting, including site access, measurements, product selection, plans, photos and customer instructions. Any additional work, hidden conditions, changes to scope or upgraded materials may require a written variation before proceeding.
- Payment Terms
Accepted payment methods may include credit/debit card, bank transfer, PayPal, Buy Now Pay Later options and other methods made available by Aussie Home and Floor. Payment must clear before goods are dispatched, collected or ordered in, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
For flooring, renovation, installation and service works, a deposit may be required to confirm the booking, secure materials and allocate labour. Progress payments or balance payments are payable in accordance with the quotation, invoice or agreed schedule. Unless otherwise stated, the final balance is payable upon completion or practical completion of the works.
Goods remain the property of Aussie Home and Floor until paid for in full. We may pause delivery, installation or further works if payments are overdue.
- Orders, Product Availability & Measurements
Product colours, finishes, batches, dimensions and images shown online or in catalogues are indicative only and may vary slightly due to manufacturing tolerances, screen settings, lighting, batch variation or natural material variation.
For flooring and renovation products, customers must ensure quantities are suitable for the intended area, including wastage, cuts, pattern matching, stairs, trims, transitions and future repairs. Where Aussie Home and Floor performs a site measure, the quoted quantity will be based on our assessment and stated assumptions.
If an item is out of stock, discontinued or delayed by a supplier, we will contact you to discuss suitable alternatives, revised timeframes, cancellation or refund options where applicable.
- Delivery, Collection & Site Access
Delivery dates and installation dates are estimates only unless confirmed in writing. We will use reasonable efforts to meet agreed timeframes, but delays may occur due to supplier availability, freight, weather, site readiness, access restrictions, variations, trade coordination or events outside our control.
Customers must provide safe and reasonable access for delivery and works, including parking, lift access where required, power, water, clear work areas, and any building management approvals. Additional charges may apply for difficult access, waiting time, failed delivery, re-delivery, stair carry, after-hours work or restricted access.
Risk in goods passes to the customer upon delivery, collection or installation at the site, subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Cancellations & Order Changes
To cancel or adjust an order, contact our Customer Care Team as soon as possible. If your items have already been allocated, dispatched, custom ordered, cut, manufactured or ordered in from a supplier, cancellation may not be possible or a restocking/cancellation fee may apply.
A 20% restocking fee may apply to cancelled or returned items where products have been specially ordered, allocated, returned with damaged packaging, or where supplier restocking fees apply. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty, defective or incorrectly supplied by us.
- Returns – 7 Day Change of Mind
- We accept change of mind returns within 7 days of delivery or collection, subject to approval and the conditions below:
- Items must be unused, uninstalled, in original packaging and in resalable condition.
- Sealed packaging must be intact and undamaged. We cannot accept returns where seals are broken unless the item is faulty or defective.
- Original shipping, delivery, handling and installation charges are non-refundable for change of mind returns.
- Return shipping and safe return packaging are at the customer’s expense.
- Opened, used, installed, custom-cut, special-order, clearance, discontinued or made-to-order items cannot be returned for change of mind unless required by law.
- A 20% restocking fee may apply where packaging is damaged, the item was specially ordered, or supplier fees apply.
- Damages, Faults & Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. Damage, missing parts, incorrect items or visible defects must be reported within 24 hours of delivery where possible, and no later than 7 days after delivery or collection.
We recommend checking all items before storage, cutting, installation or trade use. If items are stored without inspection or installed despite visible damage or defects, we may be limited in the remedies we can offer, subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Trade professionals, installers and customers must inspect products before installation. If a damaged, incorrect or visibly defective item is installed after the issue was or should reasonably have been identified, Aussie Home and Floor will not be responsible for associated removal, reinstallation, delay or labour costs unless required by law.
- Installation, Renovation & Site Works
Where Aussie Home and Floor provides installation, renovation, maintenance or trade services, the works will be performed in accordance with the accepted quotation, stated inclusions, site conditions and agreed scope.
Unless expressly included in the quotation, pricing may exclude furniture moving, appliance disconnection, asbestos or hazardous material removal, structural work, engineering, permits, council approvals, protection of existing surfaces, after-hours work, major subfloor rectification, moisture remediation, painting, rubbish removal or repair of pre-existing defects.
The customer must ensure the site is ready before our team arrives. This includes removing personal belongings, providing access, confirming building approvals where required, and ensuring other trades or occupants do not prevent safe and efficient work. Waiting time, aborted visits or additional attendance caused by lack of readiness may be charged.
For flooring works, subfloor condition, moisture, flatness, skirting, door clearance, existing floor removal, trims, levelling and product suitability can affect the final scope and price. Any required preparation not included in the original quote will be treated as a variation.
- Variations & Additional Works
Any change to product selection, quantity, design, site conditions, measurements, timing or scope may be treated as a variation. Variations should be confirmed in writing and may affect pricing, lead time and completion date.
If hidden conditions are discovered during works, including damaged subfloors, water damage, rot, mould, non-compliant existing work, plumbing or electrical issues, asbestos or structural concerns, we may need to pause works and provide a revised scope or recommendation before continuing.
- Warranty
Product warranties
Manufacturer warranties may apply to products supplied by Aussie Home and Floor. Warranty periods, conditions and exclusions vary by product, brand, application and use. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
Workmanship
Where Aussie Home and Floor performs installation or renovation works, workmanship will be delivered with reasonable care and skill. Any workmanship warranty is limited to the scope of works performed by us and does not cover product defects, misuse, lack of maintenance, movement in existing structures, moisture issues, damage caused by others, normal wear and tear, or matters outside our control.
Warranty exclusions
To the extent permitted by law, warranties do not cover:
damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident, impact, improper cleaning or lack of maintenance;
products installed or used contrary to manufacturer instructions or applicable standards;
damage from harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, adhesives, sealants or incompatible products;
damage caused by water, flooding, moisture, salt water exposure, inadequate drying or excessive humidity;
normal wear and tear, scratching, denting, spotting, staining, fading or discolouration;
products modified, altered, cut, repaired or installed by others after purchase;
clearance, discontinued or heavily discounted products where the issue was disclosed at sale;
claims made without proof of purchase or outside the applicable warranty period.
Where a valid warranty claim is accepted, Aussie Home and Floor may, at its discretion and subject to Australian Consumer Law, repair, replace, resupply or refund the defective product or service. We are not liable for installation, removal, reinstallation or labour costs associated with a product warranty claim unless required by law or agreed in writing.
- Australian Consumer Law

You may be entitled to a replacement, repair, refund, cancellation of service, or compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage where required under the Australian Consumer Law, including where goods or services fail to meet a consumer guarantee.
