At Aussie Home and Floor, we are committed to ensuring you are satisfied with your purchase. This Refund & Returns Policy outlines your rights and obligations when returning or seeking a refund for products or services purchased from us.

1. Change of Mind Returns

  • We offer returns within 14 days of purchase for eligible items.
  • Returned items must be: Unused, unopened, and in their original packaging Accompanied by proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)
  • Custom-made, special orders, clearance, and sale items are non-refundable unless required by law.

2. Damaged or Faulty Items

If your item is damaged, faulty, or incorrect, we will:

  • Arrange a replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
  • Require photo evidence or an inspection of the product to confirm the issue.

Please notify us within 7 days of delivery or collection if you believe the product is defective.

3. Services and Installations

For flooring installations, renovations, or other services:

  • If there is a defect in workmanship, we will rectify the issue within a reasonable timeframe at no extra cost.
  • No refunds will be provided for services already completed unless required by law.

4. Refund Process

  • Once your return is approved, your refund will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
  • For payments made via bank transfer, please allow additional time for your financial institution to process the refund.

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty:

  • Custom-made flooring or renovation materials (cut to size or ordered specifically for you)
  • Clearance, sale, or final stock items
  • Products that have been installed, used, altered, or damaged after delivery

7. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

This policy does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to meet acceptable quality standards.
